They acknowledge that the manager-employee relationship is the most important chauffeur of engagement and organic growth, and they approach the task of enhancing interaction with the same rigor, self-control, and dedication that they approach various other company issues.

The excellent information is that the majority of Europeans are disengaged but not annoyed. They are remaining on the sidelines, waiting to be influenced. They are winnable, and companies can fix this gap by better outfitting their managers with the learning and growth they need to be far better people supervisors.
